I can't remember names but the person in the store (owner?) was very friendly and helpful. My site was clean and spacious. And I love the fact the sites are separated by trees which is what I look for in a campground.I thought the pool a little small but it was nice to take a dip when the temps hit 90. I was impressed with the entertainment on the weekend. Very easy to get to right off the highway. And not far from Meredith and Weirs beach. I wish I would have booked a longer stay. This will be our new go to for our vacation. sid gonsalvesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great stay here at Ames brook. Location was great for bike week, close enough to get to the action, but far enough to enjoy quiet nights by the fire. Property very well kept and friendly service. IMO - Nicest Campground in NH. Have stayed here several times and always book another stay before we leave. This was the First time we took a cottage (travelling with my Father) very nice, very clean and very convenient. Whether its a Campsite or Cottage, this place is great Alex AgronickTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a wonderful place and convenient to the entire lakes region. We walked our dog every day in the nearby Whitten Woods and then drove 20 minutes to the WOW bike trail in Laconia and rode our bikes there each day. During our trip we saw an excellent production of Come From Away at the Winnipesaukee Playhouse and then two days later thoroughly enjoyed Paul Simon at the Pavilion in Gilford. Everything we did was no more than 25 minutes from this gem of a campground with spotless grounds and bathrooms.
